  40. .SH SYNOPSIS
  41. .B pbs_mpilam
  42. [<mpilam options>]
  43. .B pbs_mpilam
  44. --version
  45. .SH DESCRIPTION
  46. The PBS command
  47. .B pbs_mpilam
  48. replaces the standard
  49. .I mpirun
  50. command in a PBS LAM MPI job.
  51. If used to run a single program, PBS tracks resource usage
  52. and controls all user processes spawned by the program.
  53. If used to run multiple programs as specified in an application file
  54. (no
  55. .I <where>
  56. argument and no
  57. .I -np/-c
  58. option), PBS does not manage the spawned user processes of each program.
  59. If the
  60. .I where
  61. argument is not specified,
  62. .I pbs_mpilam
  63. will try to run the user's program on all available CPUs
  64. using the
  65. .I C
  66. keyword.
  67. .B Prerequisites
  68. .br
  69. The PATH on remote machines must contain
  70. .I PBS_EXEC/bin.
  71. .SH USAGE

  73. .I mpirun.
  74. All options are passed directly to
