  47. A character string is returned containing the name of the default
  48. PBS server.
  49. The default server is defined
  50. by (a) the setting of the environment
  51. variable
  52. .B PBS_DEFAULT
  53. which contains a destination, or (b) by adding the parameter
  54. .B PBS_SERVER
  55. to the global configuration file /etc/pbs.conf.

  57. If the default server cannot be determined, a NULL value is
